She brings the timeless precision of the print world and the visual acuity of multi-media to every Quantum project — no matter how high-tech. What you get: the best of both worlds.
Quantum's associates complete the picture: award-winning designers and writers, editors, and researchers with outstanding skills. Their backgrounds include illustration, art direction, literary and magazine writing, and they hold grad degrees, collectively, in English, sociology, education and library and information studies.
Teamwork is our hallmark, and communications is our business. The groundwork is laid in how we communicate with you.
We take the time to understand your organization, the challenges you face, and the objectives we can help you reach. Whether you need us for a one-time project, or the development and maintenance of ongoing strategies and initiatives, we give your project our full — and always personalized — attention. We never take a cookie-cutter approach.
At Quantum, 96 percent of our clients are repeat business. We believe in building relationships so we can be truly, and increasingly, responsive to your needs.
We also believe in staying current. We spend our off-desk hours researching communications and social media trends, networking with other PR professionals, editors, writers, printers, designers, and website wizards — discovering what flies, and what could fly better.
Evaluation tools and practices are always on our radar. donalee is a past board member of the Canadian Evaluation Society, Nova Scotia branch.
What you get? Communications and editorial professionals who care about quality — and know how to determine it.
Big-picture thinking is our forte
We get to know your organization – and work with you to put a plan, a strategy, and a program in place that will meet your needs now and moving forward. Here are a few examples:
Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work (CCRW). Quantum Communications prepared the first comprehensive communications plan for CCRW and assisted with its initial implementation. The results were so positive the national organization hired a marketing communications person on a part-time basis to handle media demand, communications infrastructure growth, and related needs. As part of the plan development, Quantum Communications conducted a complete publications audit and held focus groups to assess the strategic value of proposed initiatives.
Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation. Quantum prepared the organization's first communications plan, which increased awareness and program response by more than 20 percent in less than 12 months. We continued to build on this success for the organization – and won a Gemstone Award from the Canadian Public Relations Society – Nova Scotia for the external communications plan.
MRTC and Associates. Quantum developed a marketing communications plan for this Halifax-based treatment firm that enabled the company to identify and capitalize on opportunities in both the short and long term. The company subsequently opened offices in three additional communities.
